¿Qué se necesita para establecer un servicio médico dentro de la empresa?

 

La Ley Federal del Trabajo (LFT) en México, establece en su artículo 504: Toda empresa que tenga a su servicio más de cien trabajadores, deberá instaurar una enfermería dotada con medicamentos y material de curación necesario para la atención médica.

 

Por otra parte, para instalar el servicio médico dentro de la empresa deben tenerse en cuenta las siguientes consideraciones:

 

  • Tener un espacio apropiado, se recomienda un área de al menos 3×3 m².

 

  • Las instalaciones eléctricas e hidráulicas deben ser adecuadas para el área (lavamanos, drenaje, ventilación e iluminación suficientes).

 

  • Un médico especializado en medicina laboral o general, y con la experiencia suficiente para ser el responsable del servicio médico dentro de la empresa.

 

  • Contar con el mobiliario, equipo, instrumental y equipo de primeros auxilios básicos necesarios conforme las disposiciones establecidas.

 

  • Mantener un abastecimiento de medicamentos y material de curación al día.

 

  • Llevar el control de las atenciones efectuadas y generar los reportes básicos para la empresa.
