Muchas veces nos preguntamos si en nuestro trabajo además de prestaciones, vacaciones, bonos y demás cosas que nos brindan, también deban proporcionarnos ayuda a nuestra salud tanto física como mental. Pues ese momento ha llegado, ya que a partir de octubre, de este año que transcurre de acuerdo con la Norma Oficial Mexicana (NOM) los jefes estarán obligados a prestar atención a la salud mental de sus empleados.

En octubre las empresas deberán atender todo tipo de cuestiones que pasen en sus empresas en relación a sus trabajadores. Ya sean problemas de estrés, falta de sueño y ansiedad causado por el mismo trabajo. Todo esto de acuerdo con relación a la Norma Oficial Mexicana (NOM) 35.

En Wellness México nos hemos ido adelantando un poco y hemos desarrollado ya en nuestra App con identificación de eventos traumáticos, evaluaciones de riesgos psicosociales y entorno laboral y sus respectivos reportes conforme la NOM 35 lo requiere. Además de otras funcionalidades como denuncias de violencia laboral, e-learnig y difusión de diversos aspectos requeridos por la NOM 35. Esto con el motivo de ayudar a ambas partes, tanto a los empleados como a las empresas y crear un sano ecosistema laboral.

El tipo de preguntas que vienen en nuestra App son sobre las condiciones ambientales del centro de trabajo de los empleados y algunos ejemplos son como:

¿Tu trabajo te exige hacer mucho esfuerzo físico?

¿Consideras que las actividades que desempeñas son peligrosas?

 

 

Tenemos preguntas también asociadas a cantidad y ritmo de trabajo como por ejemplo:

 

 

¿Por la cantidad de trabajo que tengo debo quedarme tiempo adicional a mi turno?

¿Por la cantidad de trabajo que tengo debo trabajar sin parar?

¿Considero que es necesario mantener un ritmo de trabajo acelerado?

También preguntas relacionadas con el o los jefes con quien tiene contacto:

¿Tu jefe te ayuda a organizar mejor el trabajo?

¿Tu jefe toma en cuenta tus opiniones y puntos de vista?

¿Tu jefe te avisa con tiempo sobre los proyectos de la empresa?

¿Tu jefe te de la orientación correcta para las actividades que desempeñas?

Y muchas más preguntas de esta índole refiriéndose al trabajo y al contexto que implica oficina, empleado y jefe. Todo el cúmulo de cosas que significa el bienestar laboral y por ende el mental y físico.

En el apartado 5 se describe así:

“Los jefes  deberán practicar exámenes médicos y evaluaciones psicológicas a los trabajadores expuestos a violencia laboral y/o a los factores de riesgo psicosocial, cuando existan signos o síntomas que denoten alguna alteración a su salud y el resultado de la identificación y análisis de los factores de riesgo psicosocial, a que se refiere el numeral 7.1 y 7.2 de esta Norma, así lo sugiera y/o existan quejas de violencia laboral mediante los mecanismos a que alude el numeral 8.1, inciso b) de la presente Norma”.

Ahora nos estaremos preguntando, ¿de verdad va a ser tan importante cumplir esta nueva norma? “Pues esto hará que las empresas estén obligadas por ley, ya no solo a identificar estos factores sino a atenderlas y atacarlas con medidas de prevención, acciones de control seguras y confidenciales con lo que se creará y tendrá un mejor ambiente para los trabajadores” comentó Arturo Orozco Magallón, coordinador de Licenciatura de Psicología Organizacional (LPO) de CETYS Universidad Campus Tijuana.

El plan a seguir es hacer un diagnóstico, bien podría ser a través de nuestras evaluaciones que hacemos en Wellness México y que llevamos a cabo en todas esas áreas descuidadas y que vamos desarrollando poco a poco con acciones. Comenzar con lo primordial, atender las cargas de trabajo, la violencia en segundo lugar, ver en qué punto está la relación jefe-seguidores para ver si hay un mal liderazgo y empezar a ejecutar planes como talleres, pláticas o guías de liderazgo así como el acoso laboral.

A mitad de 2019 y las empresas ya empiezan a identificar que no todo está del todo bien con sus empleados, y con esto solo es cuestión de tiempo para que todos esos factores cada vez sean más obvios y notorios, la Secretaría de Trabajo y Previsión Social (STPS) cree muy viable empezar a sancionar a partir de finales de 2019 por algunos aspectos y el resto a finales de 2020 si no identifican evidencia de que estos factores fueron reconocidos y no fueron tratados en su momento y forma a través de planes de acción.

Según las estadísticas a nivel nacional, el 43% de los mexicanos padece de estrés laboral y el 33% es adicto al trabajo, por lo que la NOM 35 vino a ayudarnos y vino para quedarse, no estemos con miedo, estemos agradecidos de que por fin se está haciendo algo para nosotros y las futuras generaciones y no nos quedemos de brazos cruzados sin querernos ayudar a nosotros mismos.

  559. Today, I went to the beachfront with my children. I found a sea shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said “You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear.” She placed the shell to her ear and screamed. There was a hermit crab inside and it pinched her ear. She never wants to go back! LoL I know this is entirely off topic but I had to tell someone!
